Cleaning of canal systems

We carry out cleaning of duct systems, a so-called duct cleaning in all existing ventilation systems on the market. After only a few years, there is quite a lot of dust and other dirt in the ventilation pipes. The air circulates less well and the fans have to work harder to get the air out, or the airflow is reduced, resulting in much poorer air quality.

Dirt in the duct system thus causes reduced performance and higher energy consumption. The increased energy consumption is often due to the fact that the ventilation system has to work unnecessarily hard to blow out the right amount of air. Dirty canals are like atherosclerosis. After a duct cleaning, the pressure drop in the ducts decreases and the air exchange increases, allowing the ventilation to maintain the correct air flows. If the ducts are not cleaned regularly, air circulation will be reduced, heat exchange will stop and the ventilation unit will eventually break down, and there is a high risk of moisture and mould damage. In fact, if you don’t regularly clean your ventilation ducts, so much dirt can build up in your ventilation system that its efficiency is reduced; with 3 years without cleaning, the ventilation system loses 30% of its efficiency.
